Making It Home is a series that follows designer Alexandra Hutchison on a quest to create stylized and functional homes for families with limited means ; people who are facing hardships and are in need. Alexandra’s passionate belief is that a comfortable home space is paramount to a family’s well being and ability to overcome adversity.

In each episode Alexandra meets a family that desperately needs her help. With limited resources, time, and miss-matched worn out furniture, Alexandra designs from the heart creating HGTV worthy reveals on a dime. Viewers can expect to see fresh ideas that range form a 24 hour kitchen makeover to simple and beautiful custom furniture and decor. And with the help of her volunteer team she creates DIY projects to deliver a home space that reflects each family’s taste and needs.
